Unveiling Stories of Overtown: Our Family Tree Mural
Anthony Renelle Reed II, better known in the Art Community as ‘Mojo,‘ is a Contemporary Artist based in Miami, FL. Known for his unique perspective and vibrant depictions of Black American Culture, he is passionate about crafting inspiring and impactful visual narratives. Getting his creative start at Savannah College of Arts & Design, he honed his creative style and used his talents to visually story tell and create thought provoking pieces. Moving to Miami in 2018 allowed Mojo to really hit his creative stride, his positive representation in his work and technique attracted the eyes of well known brands and led to collaborations with companies such as Nike, Forbes Magazine, Wynwood Walls and Miami MoCAAD.
Highlights:
- Mojo created Miami MoCAAD’s first mural “OVERtown: Our Family Tree” in 2022 (picture below)
- Mojo also founded and is the CEO of the 501c3 non-profit organization Healing with Hues, Inc., he is focused on three pillars: Community Based Art Initiatives and Activations, Art Therapy, and Youth Development.
