Nakeya Brown (1988- ) is an American photographer who creates work that references Black beauty culture. Some of her photographs critique the way hair products and services and the work they do to reinforce Eurocentric beauty standards.  Brown received her Bachelor of Art from Rutgers University and her Master of Fine Arts from George Washington University.
